Jakarta, 4th of February 2023- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mrs. Adaljiza Magno, had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Búi Thanh So’n.

The two Ministers stressed the importance of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in the areas of economy and investment, as well as the need to explore possibilities of establishing bilateral agreements on some sectors, such as tourism, agriculture, fisheries and oil and gas.

Today, 07 February 2023, The ASEAN Secretariat Mission to Timor-Leste has conducted the training for Cluster I of the Capacity Building Program (CBP) at Maubara Conference Room of Timor Plaza Hotel.

During the opening session, H.E. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (MCAE) emphasised the importance of the training for Timor-Leste’s officials as implementing agencies to better understand ASEAN Legal Frameworks, Rules and Procedures. Furthermore, Timor-Leste has acknowledged the support of ASEAN Secretariat Mission to Timor-Leste and Asian Development Bank.
